The recipients of the Award in each Category (Adult and Youth) will receive:
- Outstanding Environmentalist Award certificate and Commemorative Native Art piece presented live at the Summit (if accepted virtually, your award will be shipped to you)
- Complimentary registration to the 2023 and 2024 Region 10 Tribal Environmental Leaders Summit, with some assistance in travel and lodging if needed.
- Invitation to attend all public RTOC meetings for the year
- Recognition on the RTOC and TELS websites and EPA newsletters, and social media
- Choose one Award Category
Award Category 1: Tribal Leaders/Adults/Organizations/Project Teams College students, elders, professionals, tribal leaders, native or non-native persons presently contributing, or have previously dedicated their efforts in the Tribal Environmental field.
Award Category 2: Tribal Youth/ Next Generation currently attending Elementary, Jr. High, Highschool or Homeschool and have demonstrated sincere interest, time or projects that develop leadership and exhibit stewardship in protecting our environment.
