The 2023 Tribal Environmental Leaders Summit (TELS) will be hosted by the Shoshone-Bannock Tribes held in Fort Hall, Idaho at the ShoBan Casino Hotel. Many tribes budget for travel and registration fees in your GAP applications. If it is not budgeted for 2023 please reach out to your EPA Project Coordinator to include funding for you to attend.

In-person registration will be $100 for Students and Elders and $200 for Adults/Professionals. Virtual attendee registration is $75. We will have scholarships available so please don’t let the cost prevent you from attending. The Scholarship Application is available here.

We have worked with the Shoshone Bannock Casino Hotel to offer the following rates:
Tribal Members (Booking ID #11137) rate is $119.00/night. Must provide a Tribal ID, CIB, or Status Card
Non-Tribal Members (Booking ID #11139) rate is $129.00/night
Guests are responsible for an incidentals rate of #50.00 and an 8% occupancy tax.
There is a limited capacity of rooms at the venue. We recommend calling to reserve your room as soon as you can. If there are no rooms available at the Shoshone-Bannock Casino Hotel, please search for lodging in Pocatello. Depending on where you stay, you will be a 10-15 min drive to the venue.

Flights should be arranged to Pocatello, ID – 10 min drive to hotel (Delta), Idaho Falls – 45 min drive to hotel (Alaska or Delta) or Salt Lake City – 2 hour driveĀ  to hotel (Alaska or Delta, other airlines). Please arrange for transportation to/from the hotel as the hotel does not have an airport shuttle to either airport.
